Archbishop Romero beatified in El Salvador

Archbishop Oscar Romero was recently beatified in El Salvador by Pope Francis on May 23, 2015. This honor brings him one step closer to sainthood. The beatification mass that took place in San Salvador gathered more than 250,000 people.
