The Jesuit Conference President gives Pope Francis a ‘report card’

The world, and especially those of us entrenched in the world of Jesuit education, have been watching these first 100 days of Pope Francis's papacy with anticipation. How will his Jesuit roots influence his leadership and decisions? How will he relate to Catholics around the world? The website of the Jesuit Conference www.jesuit.org recently posted an interview with the Jesuit Conference President Fr. Thomas Smolich, SJ, asking for his thoughts on these first 100 days of the new papacy. Fr. Smolich provides a 'report card' of different aspects of Francis's performance so far.
