Timothy "T.J." Creamer, Loyola University Maryland '82
Inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu as an undergraduate earning a B.S. in Chemistry at Loyola University Maryland, T.J. Creamer has pursued the path of scholarship, loyalty and service all the way to the International Space Station.
After earning his B.S. at Loyola Maryland, Creamer continued his education, completing an M.S. in Physics from MIT, he earned the rank of Colonel before retiring from the U.S. Army. He was assigned to NASA as a Space Shuttle vehicle test engineer in 1995, and entered astronaut training in 1998.
After ten years of training, he launched aboard the Soyuz TMA-17 crew in December of 2009. The crew docked with the International Space Station, where Creamer would spend 161 days before returning to Earth. Learn more about his journey here.
Creamer was featured in Loyola Magazine last year. He resides in Texas with his wife and two children.
