All investment committee members are members of Alpha Sigma Nu and maintain the highest ethical standards as fiduciary guardians of member funds. The Alpha Sigma Nu Investment Committee is chaired by the Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
The core responsibilities of Alpha Sigma Nu’s investment committee include financial oversight and reporting. The members of the investment committee are legally bound by three primary duties:
- Making informed and prudent financial decisions.
- Acting solely in the organization’s best interest.
- Ensuring the organization complies with its mission and applicable laws.
The responsibilities of the Treasurer are outlined in the Alpha Sigma Nu organizational by-laws (§4.7).

Michael Bizzario
Inducted: Fairfield University, 1994
With a robust background in public accounting, investment management, and operational leadership, Mr. Bizzario brings a unique blend of financial acumen and strategic vision to the table. His career began at Arthur Andersen, where he earned my CPA designation, followed by an MBA in Finance from the Yale School of Management. He has over a decade of experience on Wall Street, including seven years at UBS, focusing on alternative investments. As Director of Operations at a lower middle market company in the energy sector, he led strategic initiatives that significantly expanded EBITDA and fortified the company’s value proposition. He has diverse expertise across various sectors and proven track record in driving growth.

Justin J. Livengood
Inducted: Georgetown University, 1996
Justin Livengood is a Senior Portfolio Manager for the Mid Cap Growth strategy and the Health Care strategy. He also serves as Senior Research Analyst responsible for the health care, real estate, and financial services sectors for the Discovery Growth Team.
Mr. Livengood joined Invesco when the firm combined with OppenheimerFunds in 2019. Before joining OppenheimerFunds in 2006, Mr. Livengood was a vice president and fund analyst with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he specialized in financial services, health care, energy, and basic materials. During his tenure at Merrill Lynch, he also worked as an investment banking analyst in the global media group and as an associate with Merrill Lynch Ventures.
Mr. Livengood earned a BS degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder.

Mark S. Rzepczynski, PhD

Mark S. Rzepczynski, PhD, is CEO and Chief Investment Officer at AMPHI Research and Trading, a consulting firm to institutional investors and hedge funds on derivatives markets across all asset classes. His 40 years of experience includes: CEO Funds Group of FourWinds Capital Management; president, CIO of John W. Henry Inc; head of taxable fixed income research at Fidelity Management and Research; fixed income research director and portfolio manager for a Prudential Insurance subsidiary; various fixed income positions at First Chicago and Merrill Lynch; economist for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange; and assistant professor of finance at the University of Houston. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Alternative Investments.
