Cristina Cusmai

(Boston College '23)

Cristina Cusmai (Boston College ’23) is a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (MD, Class of 2028) and a proud member of Alpha Sigma Nu and Jesuit university alumni. Her clinical research in airway medicine and interest in hospital quality improvement have shaped her understanding of how systems impact patient safety and outcomes. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, Cristina is committed to forming meaningful relationships with patients and accompanying them through complex illness with compassion and integrity. She aspires to a career that unites clinical excellence with systems-based improvement, promoting the dignity of every patient and enhancing both care and the human experience of medicine

Caroline Harrington

(Saint Louis University ’25)

Caroline Harrington (Saint Louis University ’25), is from Boston, Massachusetts. She is a senior at Saint Louis University, where she will graduate in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and minors in Health Information Management and Interprofessional Practice. She is passionate about leadership and service, and currently serves as President of Alpha Sigma Nu and the Health Information Management Student Organization. After graduation, she plans to begin her nursing career in an acute care setting while continuing to advocate for supportive healthcare environments.

Grace Litzau

(Creighton  University ’22)

Grace Litzau (Creighton  University ’22) is a social work professional and advocate committed to the Jesuit ideal of being a “person for and with others.” Currently the Manager of Pro Bono Services at Taproot Foundation, she oversees large-scale volunteer programming and initiatives dedicated to building a sustainable, thriving nonprofit sector. Grace’s dedication to social impact is rooted in her academic foundation at Creighton University (’23), where she was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 2022, and her graduate studies at Columbia University. Now, as a member of the Young Alumni Advisory Council, Grace looks forward to applying her expertise in community engagement and strategic partnerships to strengthen the society’s reach and foster meaningful connection among the next generation of Jesuit-educated leaders.

Carla Macedo

(Universidad del Pacífico ’22)

Carla Macedo (Universidad del Pacífico ’22) graduated with a degree in Business Engineering. During her time at the university, she served as President of her Alpha Sigma Nu chapter. Under her leadership, the chapter received the Chapter of the Year Award and was also recognized for Excellence in Service. 

After graduating, Carla worked in different organizations. In one of them, she supported waste reduction initiatives across 14 countries in Latin America, working on projects aligned with her commitment to environmental impact. 

She currently works in the technology sector, helping startups grow through AI-driven solutions. Carla looks forward to giving back through her involvement with Alpha Sigma Nu in the same way she experienced during her time as a student leader.

Elizabeth MacKenzie

(Loyola University New Orleans '25)

Elizabeth MacKenzie (Loyola University New Orleans ’25) is a New Orleans native and proud member of a multigenerational Jesuit family. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience and currently works in political marketing while serving as a co-author on a cancer education research study with a manuscript planned for publication in 2026. She is also pursuing post-baccalaureate studies in preparation for Physician Assistant school. Outside of work, she can be found traveling or at the Pilates studio. She is based in The Woodlands, Texas.

Jack Michaud

(Marquette University ‘24)

Jack Michaud (Marquette University ‘24) is a law student at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Affairs from Marquette University.. Originally from Detroit, Jack brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his legal studies, grounded in a foundation in economics and global affairs. His professional interests involve trademark and copyright law.  

Throughout both his studies at Marquette and at Wisconsin Law School, Jack has remained committed to service—and learning through service—by volunteering in clinics covering small claims, business law, trusts and estates, and income tax filings. Outside of his studies, Jack enjoys music, architecture, and running. A dedicated traveler, he has visited all 50 states and hopes to travel further internationally in the future.

Jasmine Roeske

(Detroit Mercy ‘24)

Jasmine Roeske (Detroit Mercy ‘24) is a PhD student in IT with a Blockchain Specialization at the University of the Cumberlands and works in IT/Cybersecurity at a federal government agency. In 2025, she earned a M.S. in Information Systems Security with summa cum laude honors. In 2024, Jasmine completed a B.S. in Computer & Information Systems at the University of Detroit Mercy. Influenced by Jesuit principles, Jasmine embraces servant leadership, loyalty, and scholarship. In her free time, Jasmine volunteered at Seedlings Braille Books, where she learned uncontracted braille at a proficient level. Furthermore, Jasmine became a Graduate Assistant (GA) at Dale Carnegie to help professionals communicate more effectively.

Sabrina Rubenstein

(Saint Joseph’s University ’25)

Sabrina Rubenstein (Saint Joseph’s University ’25) is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, where she earned her B.A. in International Relations, graduating cum laude in three years. She currently works as a Donor Engagement Representative at Plan International USA, a role that allows her to combine her skills in stewardship with her passion for expanding opportunities for girls around the world to learn, lead, and thrive. During her time at Saint Joseph’s, Sabrina was actively involved in the Political Science Department and was inducted into the Tri-Alpha, Sigma Iota Rho, and Alpha Sigma Nu honor societies. Sabrina is excited to contribute to the Young Alumni Advisory Council and remain connected to the Jesuit mission.

Originally from Ecuador, I am proud to be an international student and love to travel. I come from a family of empowered women who have deeply influenced my leadership style and values. I am passionate about inspiring and supporting young women in their professional journeys. I became a member of ASN in 2023 and am excited to continue supporting its mission.
