Amelia Bowles (Fairfield University '23)
Amelia Bowles graduated from Fairfield University in 2024 with a double major in International Studies and Politics and minors in Humanitarian Action, French, and Business Law. She was awarded a 2024–2025 Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant to conduct research in Senegal, where she is currently studying sustainable agriculture and the role of local communities in shaping climate-resilient policies. Her work focuses on agroecology and agroforestry practices that enhance water retention and food security in drought-prone regions. Amelia collaborates with the Senegalese Agricultural Research Institute and local partners to implement and evaluate these programs, while also leading English language instruction at Université Chiekh Anta Diop and the American Center at the U.S. Embassy. She volunteers in community gardens in Dakar to address food access and promote urban agriculture. Throughout her work, Amelia exemplifies the Jesuit value of cura personalis—care for the whole person—and has continued to embody ASN’s mission through service, research, and global engagement. She will pursue her Master of Public Policy at Georgetown’s McCourt School to further her commitment to international development and climate resilience.

Jennifer Comppen (Fordham University ’20)
Jennifer Comppen (Fordham University ’20) is a mission-driven data analytics and impact reporting professional dedicated to advancing social justice through healthcare and education. She currently serves as the inaugural Manager of Data Analytics and Impact Reporting at Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative (BVMI), a nonprofit providing free, high-quality care to low-income, uninsured residents of Bergen County, New Jersey. At BVMI, Jennifer has leveraged her expertise in data storytelling to support patient care, secure national recognition from the American Heart Association, and achieve the organization’s first-ever BBB Wise Giving Alliance accreditation.
Before joining BVMI, Jennifer raised nearly $2 million for mental health services as a grant writer and later led scholarship program at Bergen Community College, where her outreach strategies dramatically increased applications and access for first-generation and low-income students. She also secured the college’s first Ellucian Foundation grant, providing emergency funds to students in need.
A summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University, Jennifer has raised over $17 million in funding throughout her career and is passionate about using data to drive impact. She currently serves on Alpha Sigma Nu’s 2024–25 Young Alumni Advisory Council and aspires to be the first in her immediate family to earn a master’s degree.

Ignacio Garrido Cruz (Universidad Loyola Andalucia ’16)
Ignacio Garrido Cruz is the Coordinator for International Networks at Universidad Loyola Andalucía’s International Office and part of the foundation team of the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU), reporting to the Secretary of Higher Education of the Society of Jesus. A dual business graduate from Loyola University Chicago and Universidad Loyola Andalucía, Ignacio has studied across five countries and supported the launch of multiple student initiatives, including the Loyola Spain Club in Chicago and Alpha Sigma Nu’s first European chapter.
He has led impactful international programs such as the Magis Exchange and the U.S./EU Inside Honors Program (Brussels), and currently supports the development of Jesuit international networks and Universidad Loyola Andalucía’s initiatives for the development of education the ecosystem in the African continent. Through strategic leadership and deep commitment to service, Ignacio champions youth empowerment, social justice, and global collaboration in higher education.

Becky Dalton (Marquette University '19)
Becky Dalton is a transformative leader whose work at the intersection of finance, education, and service exemplifies the Jesuit ideal of being a person for others. As Director of Finance & Operations at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, Milwaukee’s largest K–12 school serving predominantly low-income families, Becky has played a pivotal role in scaling the institution while maintaining its mission of faith-based, high-quality education. Her operational innovations have enabled sustainable growth and expanded opportunities for thousands of students.
Beyond finance, Becky serves as Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach, mentoring students in leadership and character development, and leads community initiatives like Aug Prep’s annual service week, which engages 2,200 students in faith-driven outreach. She also brings her expertise and heart for service to the Church of the Gesu, where she chairs the Finance Council and leads vibrant young adult programming.
A summa cum laude graduate of Marquette University and licensed CPA, Becky has received multiple honors for academic excellence and leadership. Her impact spans classrooms, churches, and communities—empowering others and modeling a life grounded in faith, service, and integrity.

Megan Byrnes DiCillo (Loyola University Maryland ’15)
Megan Byrnes DiCillo has exemplified servant leadership and a deep commitment to social justice throughout her academic and professional journey. Following her undergraduate studies in communication disorders and Spanish, she served with Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, which inspired her to pursue a career in speech-language pathology. Megan has since worked in public schools in Boston and Revere, advocating for multilingual students with special needs. Amid challenging conditions and high caseloads, she has developed impactful assessment and treatment protocols, ensuring equitable access to services for hundreds of students each year. Her work is grounded in resilience, compassion, and a continuous drive to grow through mentorship and service.

Carla Macedo Gonzales (Universidad del Pacifico ’21)
Carla Macedo Gonzales is a visionary leader whose career is defined by innovation, excellence, and a deep commitment to service. As President of the Alpha Sigma Nu chapter at Universidad del Pacífico, she led transformative initiatives that earned her chapter the prestigious Chapter of the Year award. A recipient of the Leader with Purpose for the World Award and an MIT Hackathon winner, Carla was recognized for developing an e-commerce solution that connected farmers with nano stores during the pandemic. Her academic achievements and dedication to social impact also earned her a competitive merit-based scholarship.
Carla’s professional journey reflects her values of sustainability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. At Mondelez International, she led waste reduction initiatives across 14 Latin American countries, reinforcing her commitment to environmental stewardship. As a process engineer at ProcessARB, she supported small businesses in building operational efficiency and long-term resilience. Currently, at Lingopal.ai, Carla harnesses AI to help businesses break cultural and market barriers, fostering inclusive global success.

Charlotee Kacprowicz (Canisius University ’21)
Charlotte Kacprowicz earned her BA in History from Canisius University and her JD from Emory University School of Law, both ahead of schedule. A published scholar and award-winning researcher, she combines legal expertise with a deep commitment to public service. Her recent work proposes innovative solutions to the opioid crisis through bankruptcy law reform. Inspired by personal advocacy for her brother with profound autism, Charlotte champions underserved communities through scholarship, leadership, and service. She currently serves as a federal law clerk in New Mexico and aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in U.S. legislative history.

Jazmin Vargas (Fordham Universty ’21)
Jazmin Vargas, LMSW, is a passionate social worker and advocate whose career centers on uplifting vulnerable populations through care, compassion, and community empowerment. As Clinical Coordinator, Outreach (Supervisor) at Breaking Ground, she leads efforts to address chronic homelessness and social inequities in New York City. With a background in medical and renal social work, Jazmin has supported patients facing complex health challenges, always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being.
Her experience spans both clinical and nonprofit sectors, including mentorship, workforce development, and advocacy for Latina professionals. A proud Fordham University MSW graduate, Jazmin is bilingual, currently learning Portuguese, and active in national social work and service organizations. Her work exemplifies a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and justice.
