JFAN Digital Luncheon

JFAN will be hosting a digital luncheon from 12-1 ET about "Keeping the Faith in a Violent Society; The Role of Ignatian Spirituality in my Faith Formation" with speaker Ike McKinnon, PhD

Isaiah McKinnon, Ph.D. is the former Deputy Mayor and Chief of Police of the City of Detroit. A noted educator and national expert on public safety, Dr. McKinnon is a retired associate professor of education at the University of Detroit Mercy, and an Emmy winner for his work as a safety consultant for NBC News. Dr.  McKinnon has authored three books and co-authored two others, in addition to numerous articles on crime and public safety. Jesuit-educated, he earned his B.A. from Mercy College, an M.A. from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Dr. McKinnon is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the United States Secret Service School.
