Solidarity on Tap in San Francisco

Solidarity on Tap is a simple gathering for socializing and social justice. Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, Ignatian Solidarity Network, and the Ignatian Spiritual Life Center at St. Agnes Parish welcome those connected to the Jesuits and the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola (FJV’s, Jesuit school alumni, Jesuit parish members, etc.) in San Francisco.

Location: Ignatian Spiritual Life Center | 1611 Oak Street, San Francisco

Around 8:00 PM they will have a faith and justice reflection offered by Andrew Rodriguez, S.J., and Sr. Fabian Jose.

About the speakers:
Andrew Rodriguez, S.J. is a member of the pastoral staff at The Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos. He worked as an elementary school teacher inSouthern California, as a religion teacher at St. Ignatius College Prep., and as a deacon at St. Agnes Parish in San Francisco. He received a Master of Divinity at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley.

Sr. Fabian Jose is a nun of the Ursulines of Mary Immaculate, from the South India State of Kerala. She has BA In English literature, a Masters of Divinity, Licentiate in Sacred Theology and is currently pursuing the Doctorate in Sacred Theology at JST, and her focus in doctorate is “Prophetic – Mysticism in consecrated Life,” concentrating on the spirituality of Thomas Merton for the Indian context. She has studied psychology and counseling, spiritual direction, retreat direction, inner healing programs, leadership, youth animation and various meditation techniques.
