The 2025 International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) Assembly at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia was held from June 30 to July 3. The gathering, themed “Our Mission in Challenging Times, Let’s Write the Next Chapter of Jesuit Higher Education’s History,” celebrated the fellowship of our shared Jesuit, Catholic mission and identity, and strengthened the academic, professional, and personal ties across the vast global Jesuit network of higher education.

Bringing together Jesuit university leaders from around the world to reflect on the future of Jesuit higher education, the Assembly served as a platform for deep discernment and strategic collaboration in response to global challenges such as migration, environmental degradation, artificial intelligence, mental health, and secularization. With over 300 delegates in attendance, the event emphasized the Jesuit mission of justice, hope, and care for humanity and our common home.
