Congratulations to Saint Louis University for being awarded the 2018 Alpha Sigma Nu Chapter of the Year!

The Alpha Sigma Nu Chapter of the Year Award honors the Chapter whose programming for the year has been truly outstanding in embodying, in meaningful and innovative ways, the tenets of scholarship, loyalty, and service. The SLU Chapter impressed the selection committee with the diversity of programming addressing the three tenets of Alpha Sigma Nu and with their renewal of the great tradition of Alpha Sigma Nu at SLU. Their programs included:

  • Collaborated on the Catholic Teach-In on Migration: Creating a Culture of Encounter
  • Winter Coat Drive
  • Fall and spring Finals Study parties
  • Pizza with the University President
  • Awarded the annual Nancy McNeir Ring Award for Excellence in Teaching
  • Presented  "Living the Mission" where SLU faculty members speak on their experiences promoting and living the Jesuit mission

Congratulations to Chapter President Elizabeth Mosakowski (Saint Louis '17), and Chapter officers Bailey Rakow (Saint Louis ’17), Meredith Jeffers (Saint Louis ’17), and Lizzie Miottio (Saint Louis ’17), as well as Saint Louis University President Fred Pestello, PhD (Le Moyne ’09), Faculty Adviser Bryan Sokol, PhD (Saint Louis ’91), and Chapter Coordinator Nancy Donjon on receiving Alpha Sigma Nu's fifth annual Chapter of the Year Award.
