Project C.U.R.E. Service Project

Service Collection: Medical supplies and financial donations for Project C.U.R.E

AåN Denver is partnering with Project C.U.R.E to help sort medical supplies for international relief efforts to meet the medical needs of people in over 130 countries. A team of twelve volunteers (must be 14 and older) are needed to help. We are also gathering much needed medical supplies and financial donations. Space is limited. A Lenten Retreat: Praying with Sacred Art with Ken Phillips

Join us this Lent on a Contemplative Art Walk led by Ken Phillips, of Regis University’s Mission Department. Ken will introduce us to the beautiful art pieces on campus and lead us in a spiritual reflection. We will then gather for lunch.

Day of Service with Tennyson Center for Children

Tennyson Center for Children is dedicated to helping children who have experienced severe abuse, neglect, and/or trauma so they can bravely, and safely, change their life’s story. The primary goal of all TCC programs is to reintegrate the children back into safe families, supportive schools, and vibrant communities. This Day of Service will include hosting lunch (a barbecue, weather permitting), playing board games with the kids, as well as help with outside maintenance work (i.e. raking leaves, pulling weeds, etc.) Volunteers can come for part or all, or part of the day, as your schedule allows. We will send additional information to volunteers prior to the event, including a link to sign up.

Each year we support this beautiful event feeding and giving gifts to families in need in Denver. We will be hosting a room helping Santa and his elves. All volunteers must be 16 years of age. Please join us!
